OCTOBER 2023

October 2023. We entered a Superteam bounty to redesign Symmetry, a DeFi asset management platform on Solana. Won the bounty. Met Ayo, who became our first hire. We had no idea this would turn into Dacoit. We just knew we loved building together.

ZEROLEND WENT FROM
$2.5M TO $358M TVL

DECEMBER 2023

Zerolend reached out for a full rebrand. Identity, website, product design, launch video, everything. When we started, they had $2.5M in TVL. By mid-2024, they peaked at $358M. That's when it hit us. We weren't just making things look good, we were helping projects actually break through.

WE STARTED BUILDING IN PUBLIC

2024 wasn't just about client work. Rahul went deep into Base and helped start FBI (Farcasters Builders India), now one of the biggest Base communities globally. Karan teamed up with a friend to build Degenjack, a Hi-Lo card game on Farcaster. 1,500 games played by 220 people in 2 days when Farcaster only had 2,000 daily users. We weren't just designing for crypto culture. We were living in it.

We explored many spaces, DeFi, consumer crypto, gaming, and AI. But DeFi and consumer crypto pulled us in. These were the ecosystems we understood inside and out, and where Dacoit could create the most impact.

BOTANIX LABS ASKED US TO DO SOMETHING WILD

Botanix wanted us to design and develop an entire interactive Simpsons-style Bitcoin city, plus rebrand them. This was insane. Our biggest project in terms of resources, hours, and pure creative ambition. We pulled it off. That project showed us we could push way beyond what we thought was possible.

THEN CAME DYDX, METAPLEX, SYMBIOTIC

2025 leveled us up. We worked with some of the biggest names in crypto. dYdX, Metaplex, Pixelmon, Symbiotic. 20+ brands designed. 10+ products shipped. Over $100M raised by our clients. 1B+ TVL across projects we touched. 6+ ecosystems. We weren't just surviving. We were thriving.
